We are currently looking for an experienced QA Engineer to take the leadership role on one of our big FinTech projects, an innovative digital transaction system dedicated to transforming corporate-funded payments into game-changing products and experiences
What will you actually be doing?
As our QA Tech Lead, you'll oversee the testing efforts of our project QA team, ensuring that testing procedures meet all functional requirements as defined during the requirement definition process and are completed on time according to project timelines.
Alongside that you will be responsible for managing the project’s Scrum process and ensuring that the team adheres to the Agile methodology of software development.
More precisely, you will be responsible for:
Facilitating daily scrums, sprint planning, sprint demos and meetings,
Arranging, facilitating and scheduling daily stand-ups and other meetings, as well as demos and decision making processes in order to make sure everything is going as planned,
Consulting with the client and colleagues on the project to translate functional and nonfunctional requirements into executable tests of developed code,
Developing and implementing software quality assurance plans, in collaboration with QA engineers and other colleagues on the project,
Designing, documenting, developing and executing test plans and scripts,
Communicating test progress, test results, and overall health of the product to the project stakeholders and management,
Tracking daily/weekly progress of projects to ensure releases are on schedule,
Providing technical and professional guidance and leadership to the QA team,
Continuously improving test processes and suggesting improvements to how software is designed and built throughout the development process.
What qualifications do you need to have?
3+ years of experience working as a QA Engineer, using and implementing manual testing, test automation, and formalized testing practices. Prior experience in a Team Lead position is a huge plus!
Experience with both web and mobile testing,
Very familiar with standard software development lifecycle including requirements definition, initial application design, testing, final implementation and operations in an Agile environment,
Familiar with Test automation frameworks and tools
Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment is a must!
Must be a team player, able to work in cross-functional and distributed teams.
